The casino has a seating capacity of 2,692. The venue is under the ownership of the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Tickets and Events operate it. It broke ground on April 30, 1928, and was officially inaugurated on October 22, 1929. The casino is exactly situated at the University of Minnesota.
